Description

We present natural rosehip hydrolate for perfumery, obtained from the fruit of the species Rosa canina. In international practice, the product is known as Rosehip natural hydrolate for perfumery. The aroma remains strong, and its fresh, sweet and rich facets go together in the overall profile. Steam distillation keeps the profile clean, which is why the sweet freshness of the scent is clearly recognizable and remains persistent in the finished liquid of the product. The raw material is provided by the ripe fruit, which is a false fruit with a fleshy hypanthium enclosing at its center a cluster of the true fruitlets of the plant. Taxonomically, the species belongs to the Rosaceae family, and the fruits come from Bulgarian plantations. The plantations are managed naturally. Since the regime is natural, the composition remains limited to the substances of the fruit and comes without preservatives and without colorants, whereby the fruity purity is evident. The color stays between colorless and light red. The distillate is a clear and transparent liquid. The liquid phase retains mostly water-soluble volatile substances such as alcohols and esters, and therefore the scent remains clear. Short stiff hairs cover the inner wall of the hypanthium, while the extract remains clean and uniform in appearance. The fleshy tissue around the fruitlets accumulates carotenoids, tocopherols and phenolic compounds. In addition, the product preserves its fruity character. Storage

Store natural rosehip fruit hydrolate in a dark, cool and dry place, away from direct sunlight and heat sources. Maintain a temperature of +4°C to +10°C to limit the growth of microorganisms. After opening, use the contents within 6 months and limit the amount of air in the container. Use only aluminum or glass bottles for perfumery products, preferably dark glass, which protect the perfumery hydrolate from light. Close tightly after each use to prevent air and contaminants from entering. Observing these conditions preserves the freshness and quality of the product for a longer period.
